Prayer is not an old woman's idle amusement. Properly understood and applied it is the most potent instrument of action.-  Mohandas K Gandhi (1869 - 1948

)

Forgiveness is the mental, emotional and/or spiritual process of ceasing to feel resentment, indignation or anger against another person for a perceived offense, difference or mistake, or ceasing to demand

Submit your prayer here:-

May I be embraced by the presence of the light;

May I be centered in thought, word and deed;

May I be open to this day of joy and thanksgiving;

May I give the gift of love to others in all that I do and may I be open to receive love from others;

May I walk my own path;

May I be physically, mentally, and spiritually strong  so that I may truly be present to the world around me;

May I be open to the spirit of life whose roots uphold me and whose wings set me free

Please pray for the World Recession to come to an end sooner rather
than later and with the recovery goods and services of the future will not be so
damaging to the environment. Jags from Leicestershire.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right,
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
